A sequel to the postcard is a recipe for the red tea or Sha Sao as it is known in Khasi. Delightfully simple to make, it is a great accompaniment on cold, rainy days and works with well all sorts of spices!…The only catch is finding good quality Assam tea for that perfect Red Sha Sao! :)

Sifting through your memories of a splendid trip and picking out one can be tough! For Aarti and me, I guess the best bit of the recently concluded Meghalaya trip was always That cup of hot, steaming Sha Sao or red tea with all our friends!
